Dalai Lama visited Sweden!

Dalai Lama arrived in Sweden late on Thursday, for a three day visit to Stockholm and Lund. Today in Stockholm, he spoke to over 3000 people at Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre at the public talk "Meeting with Dalai Lama" arranged by Swedish Organisation for Individual Relief (IM).

Tibetan Losar the year of Iron rabbit 2138

  5th March Saturday, Tibetan Community in Sweden organised a Losar celebration party at Nacka. We invited long time Tibet supporters and Svenska Tibetkommittén. The celebration began with the prayer "Sangsol" led by member of Tibetan Community Rinzin who sang a fabulous Namdak. We welcomed all with the Tibetan traditional butter tea, Desi and Khabsey. The rest of the evening was filled with delicious food and dance. We wish you all a very happy losar 2011.

Dalai Lama's Birthday

 On the 6th july Dalai Lama turned 75 and the tibetan community organized a bicycle ride around stockholm to promote awareness for the peaceful dialouge His Holiness has been working for as leader of the tibetan people.
